^Lot 2588 FINE BELGIAN BROWNING "T" SERIES HI POWER

SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 9mm Luger. S# T289228. Bbl. 4 5/8". Hi Power semi-automatic pistol mfg. in Belgium by Fabrique Nationale and imported by Browning Arms Company in 1968. The left side of the slide is marked with Browning's importer information above "MADE IN BELGIUM". Right side of the forward trigger guard web and 2-piece bbl. exhibit a Belgian commercial proof. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the slide, which is polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece varnished checkered wood grips, which feature red anti-moisture barrier paint on the interior of the panels. Slide features an external extractor, with a fixed half-moon blade front sight and dovetailed U-notch rear sight. MAGS: 1 dull blue 13-rd. mag., with polished blue button type floorplate. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: black leather Browning soft case. CONDITION: extremely fine, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting a few light superficial handling marks, with an approx. 1 5/8" scratch present on the left side of the slide. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting sharp and well defined rifling throughout. Grips are excellent overall. PROVENANCE: The Estate Collection of Charles Wagner. (25-427/MLW). CURIO. $750-1,000.
